Decades of stereotypes and biased understandings has led society and opinions being influenced from the agents of such gatherings.And even though rebel was everywhere, mostly it was suppressed under the weight of the minute spark that it made.
But then came the age of socializing in the palm of our hands, and with that was the power to spread one’s words through the horizons that were unknown to most, and were banned for all. But voices can’t be chained down when every whisper has the rage and the reasons to push through, to fight back, to fly.
And that’s what happened to the concept of darkness, ever constricted in it’s reality of being anatomical to ‘nothing’. But not for long, not when all the minds of those that took to the ink chose to fight away from the boundaries of what art was defined as to the one where it was free. And fresh it became when nothing was a secret, and nothing was a shame.
Reality is always the witness to the brutality of those that choose to lead, and the silence of those that have chosen to follow. Because often words don’t find the right ears, and when they do, it’s usually too late.
They say acceptance is the root to everything that stops us from being happy, but is that so? Sometimes it might be the only way that happiness ever comes back to us, or maybe it was always there to grasp, only a slight push of a hand might have done that.
But even so, going down the path chosen by someone else to find the person that you have lost inside yourself, would that be the sane thing to do? Does our existence brim to realize where others did the same wrong, and take help of the right that they have universally settled for all? Would that be a fair fight to flee into? Or should we let our own mistakes and musings draw the line for us, even though roughly!
And if you understand this, maybe you are ready to take part in this movement!
Do you see death as evil? Do you find darkness cruel? Does salvation seem like a boon to you? Are you another breathing robot that speaks what the society had laid down for you?
If no, then this is the place for you to show your ideals and thoughts for the world to see and visualize.
Because often it is so that the stereotype set by the society seeps into our thought process, and all we are left with is just one perspective to that. But this is the place for you to question from the end that isn’t overshadowed by the principles of society.
The Impish Lash Publishing House brings to you an anthology set to go against the norms set by those that follow, and aims to achieve the ambiance of all those stereotyped negatives, and find the purity in that.
Become one that has the audacity to take flight from your boundaries, and expectations, and write something that could turn the tides. Find purity in what is deemed impure, show the world how reality varies with unbiased realizations.
